An advertising value
Nowadays, companies invest more and more money in Internet advertising. Companies reduce their advertisement spending in traditional media (magazines, radio and tv) to the benefit of Internet advertising.
When a company wants to promote itself on the Internet and do online advertisement on the Internet:
a) It creates a website with its brand name as domain name.
b) It subscribes to advertisement contracts with the large Internet recognized companies like Google or Yahoo that are the key players in this market.
More and more Internet users surf the Internet through « direct navigation » (meaning, by entering directly the keywords of what they are looking for into the navigators).
